On the 19th of August 2016, our Principal, Ms Sally Renouf, was formally admitted to the Supreme Court of the ACT as a lawyer having completed her Juris Doctor in 2013.  The ceremony was held in Court 1 here in Canberra where she was admitted along with a number of other successful and budding lawyers. As is the custom an applicant must be presented to the court by a practicing Solicitor or Barrister. On this occasion there could be no better proposer than her Barrister husband, Mr Brodie Buckland who proudly announced her name adding the words  ‘my wife’ - , much to the muted amusement of the three Justices sitting on the bench. It was a delightful ceremony and a fitting end to many long years of study.
