Application process for Semester Two and for 2024.

To apply for residence at Burgmann College, prospective students are required to apply online only, via the University Accommodation (UA) Portal. 

ANU University Accommodation receives applications for all Halls, Colleges and affiliates within and associated with the ANU.  The online application form requests four preferences for university residences. We recommend that you list four preferences with Burgmann College as your first preference. Please note as part of the application process, Burgmann conducts telephone interviews with applicants. Only those who listed Burgmann College as their first preference and made the shortlist, will be interviewed.

2024 Burgmann College Applicants

For the standard UAC round (August –December), the application process for Burgmann accommodation is the same.

How to apply for accommodation at Burgmann College:

  1. Apply for accommodation to Burgmann College through the ANU Accommodation Services Portal, selecting Burgmann College as your first preference.
    Visit:   UAC rounds open late August 2023 for 2024.
    • You can only select one preference. After selecting Burgmann College, you should be prompted in the application to complete the Burgmann College Supporting Documentation Application.

  2. Burgmann College accepts supporting documentation including a Personal Statement, one-page CV and two references. These can be uploaded in the form. If there are any issues with uploading the documentation, applicants can also forward this documentation to
